Because NUVU Science products are research-grade compounds supplied strictly for qualified laboratory use, our refund and return policy reflects the specialized nature of these materials. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.
1. All Sales Are Final
Due to the sensitive and specialized nature of research-grade compounds, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or issue refunds for any reason once an order has been shipped, including but not limited to buyer’s remorse, change of research direction, or ordering errors made by the purchaser.
By placing an order with NUVU Science, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the product details and confirm you are a qualified researcher purchasing for legitimate in vitro laboratory research purposes.
2. Damaged or Incorrect Items
The only exception to our all-sales-final policy is if your order arrives damaged in transit or contains an item that is clearly incorrect (i.e., a different product than what appears on your order confirmation). In either case, you must:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@nuvuscience.com with your order number in the subject line.
- Provide clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect item(s), the outer packaging as received, and the packing slip included in your shipment.
Claims submitted after the 48-hour window, or without the required photographic documentation, will not be eligible for resolution. NUVU Science reserves the right to assess each claim individually and, where the claim is verified, will issue a replacement shipment or store credit at our sole discretion. Refunds to the original payment method are not guaranteed and are issued only in cases where a replacement cannot be fulfilled.
Products that have been opened, reconstituted, or removed from their original sealed packaging are not eligible for any claim, regardless of the circumstances.
Approved return shipping: NUVU Science pays the return shipping cost for approved returns. Contact info@nuvuscience.com with your order number to request a prepaid return label by email. Please wait for return authorization and your label before sending any item back. Use only the return address printed on the approved label; do not send returns to our public business address.
3. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled only if payment has not yet cleared and the order has not entered fulfillment. As a practical matter, cancellation requests must be submitted within 30 minutes of payment confirmation by emailing info@nuvuscience.com immediately with your order number and the subject line “Cancellation Request.”
Once an order has been processed, packed, or handed to the carrier, cancellation is not possible under any circumstances. Orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on business days are typically fulfilled the same day, so cancellation windows are narrow. We are unable to intercept packages once they have been transferred to the carrier.
4. Lost or Stolen Packages
Once an order has been transferred to the carrier and a tracking number has been issued, NUVU Science is not responsible for packages that are lost, stolen, delayed, or undeliverable due to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If your tracking shows “Delivered” but you have not received your package, please contact your carrier directly and, if applicable, file a claim with USPS or the relevant carrier.
NUVU Science is not liable for carrier delays, weather events, or any other circumstances outside our control once a shipment has left our facility.
5. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have a concern about your order, please contact us at info@nuvuscience.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer. We are committed to resolving legitimate issues promptly. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting NUVU Science may result in the suspension of your account and forfeiture of any future order privileges.
